Danilov believes that there is no opposition movement in Ukraine

Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksiy Danilov does not consider the government of national unity to be a fair idea, because "there is someone to govern Ukraine." Danilov said this in a video commentary to Liga.net.

Answering a question about the possibility of creating such a government in the absence of the possibility of holding elections, Danilov denied the existence of an opposition in the country.

When asked about the opposition that could be represented by a government of national unity, Danilov asked for specifics, and was given a response about the parliamentary parties represented in the current convocation of the Verkhovna Rada. In his turn, he stated: "We do not have any opposition."

In support of his statement, Danilov defined the opposition as those who are responsible for the current events in the country and emphasized that there are many people at the front who can adequately govern Ukraine.
