The Polish government has handed over 5,000 Starlink to Ukraine to provide communication in the frontline areas and for critical infrastructure enterprises. This was reported in Telegram by the press service of the Ministry of Digital Transformation.
"Communication for frontline areas and critical infrastructure. We have received 5,000 Starlink terminals from the Polish government," the statement said.
The transferred terminals should help restore communication in the de-occupied regions, ensure the normal functioning of schools, medical facilities, and the energy sector.
In total, about 47 thousand Starlink terminals provided by our partners are already in use in Ukraine.
More than 19.5 thousand terminals have been received from Poland, some of which were transferred to equip the "Points of Invincibility".
