The vast majority of Ukrainians oppose the resignation of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valeriy Zaluzhnyi. This is evidenced by a recent poll conducted by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology.
According to the study, about 72% of respondents do not approve of the theoretical resignation of Zaluzhnyi, while only 2% would be positive about it. Another 21% are neutral, and 5% were unable to form an opinion.
Among respondents who trust President Volodymyr Zelensky, 71% would have a negative attitude to the decision to dismiss the military commander, while only 3% would approve of it.
All regions of Ukraine are critical of Zaluzhnyi's resignation.
43% of respondents believe in "friction" or differences between Zelensky and Zaluzhnyi, but only 8% of them believe the situation is "very serious," while 35% said the disagreements are minor. Another 39% do not believe in the existence of such a conflict at all, while 18% have not decided.
