Kyivstar may be partially restored as early as today, according to the SBU.
According to preliminary estimates, the company plans to restore fixed-line home internet and launch mobile and internet services on December 13. Experts from the SBU, other government agencies and Kyivstar are working on this.
It is reported that the operator's digital infrastructure has been critically damaged, so it will take time to restore all services in compliance with the necessary security protocols.
The SBU also reports that the Russian "pseudo-hacker group" Solntsepek, which claimed responsibility for the attack, is a hacker unit of the GRU, "which thus publicly legalizes the results of its criminal activities."
