President Volodymyr Zelensky has congratulated the servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on their professional holiday. The President posted the video on Telegram.
"The day of the strong, the day of the brave, the day of the unbreakable. Men, women, warriors, heroes. The day of all those who gave their own lives in order not to give up Ukraine <...> Today there is only one word - well done. Today there is only one emotion - gratitude. And only one desire - to win. Commanders, please take care of your soldiers and yourselves," Zelensky addressed the Ukrainian military.
In the video, the president said that he was heading to the wall of memory of those who died for Ukraine, while saying hello to a woman passing by.
He recalled that on February 24, 2022, it was "loud and scary, but fear lost and now the whole world heard about us."
The President said that today most Ukrainians are able to work and live in their cities thanks to the fact that there are checkpoints and fortifications on these streets, but they are "fortunately ours."
"Now I'm walking through the capital of our beautiful country, not someone's province within someone's empire. I am walking from the President's Office, not someone else's gauleiter. Ahead of me is European Square, where blue and yellow flags, not tricolors, ahead is Volodymyr's Hill in honor of our great prince, not their petty prince," Zelensky said, adding that "we have those who have proven and are proving that it will be our way."
