Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has been named the most influential person in Europe by Politico magazine. This is reported on the publication's website.
"What Zelenskyy has done is convince the rest of Europe that its future is connected with Ukraine. His rhetoric sharply highlights the malevolence of the Russian regime he is fighting against, dispelling the belief of much of Europe that Moscow can be a partner," the article says.
Politico emphasizes that Zelenskyy is not only trusted but also admired in Europe, where he is considered a role model.
The publication recognizes the high level of communication skills of the Ukrainian leader and his successful use of social media, traditional media, and Western cultural institutions such as the Grammy Awards or the Cannes Film Festival. This helped unite the event and the public to counter Russian aggression.
In addition, Politico notes Zelenskyy's success in achieving strategic goals, such as obtaining military aid from Europe and imposing sanctions on Russia, despite the opposition of some countries.
