President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held a regular meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff. In particular, the issue of Ukrainian weapons production was raised. This was reported by the head of the Ukrainian state on Telegram.
According to him, the key topic of the meeting was the supply of the Ukrainian defense forces for the next year.
"A large report by Defense Minister (Rustem - ed.) Umerov on the needs of our soldiers in vehicles, missiles, ammunition, equipment and services - everything necessary for the further de-occupation of Ukraine," Zelensky said.
According to him, they also discussed the implementation of current contracts and the conclusion of new ones with both the domestic military-industrial complex and foreign ones.
At the same time, Minister of Strategic Industry Oleksandr Kamyshyn reported an increase in production at Ukrainian enterprises.
He also spoke about the prospects for the development of Ukraine's long-term missile program.
"The situation at the front: Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, Kherson. Reports from Chief of Staff Zaluzhnyi, Commanders Syrskyi, Tarnavskyi, Moskalev and Sodol," the president added.
