The first visit of the new British Foreign Secretary: he met with Zelenskyy

President Volodymyr Zelensky met with David Cameron in Kyiv, the former Prime Minister's first international visit since becoming the UK Foreign Secretary.

"Good meeting. Weapons for the front, strengthening of air defense, protection of our people and critical infrastructure. I am grateful to Britain for its support!" the president wrote on Telegram.

Zelensky congratulated Cameron on his appointment as Foreign Secretary.

Among the issues discussed at the meeting were defense cooperation, including long-range weapons, strengthening Ukraine's air defense system, the security situation in the Black Sea, and the further work of the alternative "grain corridor."

Other topics of the talks included the promotion of Ukraine's "peace formula" and the draft post-war security guarantees, Euro-Atlantic integration, and the UK's support for Ukraine's movement toward NATO membership.
