NPC Ukrenergo and South Korean company Hyundai Engineering & Construction have signed a memorandum of cooperation. The agreement refers to the study of the possibility of developing an electricity transmission system in Ukraine, the press service of the Ukrainian company reports.
The signing of this memorandum took place within the framework of the international conference Rebuild Ukraine in Warsaw with the participation of the Minister of Energy of Ukraine Herman Galushchenko.
The head of Ukrenergo Volodymyr Kudrytskyi emphasized that global businesses are showing interest in investing in Ukraine, especially in the energy sector, which is becoming a key to successful investments in the development and energy security of Europe.
At the G20 summit, the South Korean government confirmed its readiness to allocate $2.3 billion to rebuild Ukraine's infrastructure over the next two years.
