Zelensky held a meeting in Mykolaiv after a trip to Kherson region

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky paid a working visit to Mykolaiv, where he held a meeting on security and vitality of the region. This is reported in the official information of the Presidential Office.


The meeting, which was attended by the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Administration Vitalii Kim and the mayor of Mykolaiv Oleksandr Senkevych, addressed topical issues related to the current situation in the region and the city's vital functions.


Zelensky received reports on the process of restoring water and gas supply in the liberated settlements, as well as on the water supply in Mykolaiv.


Preparations for the heating season were also discussed.


Commander of the Odesa Operational and Strategic Grouping Andriy Hnatov presented information on the situation in the Black Sea, including threats to navigation related to Russia's actions, as well as measures to protect port infrastructure and the results of the grain corridor.


The heads of law enforcement agencies in Mykolaiv region informed Zelensky about the current operational and crime situation in the region, as well as on the coordination of law enforcement.


As part of the visit, the president also visited a hospital where wounded Ukrainian soldiers are being treated and presented awards for their heroic service. Zelensky expressed his gratitude to military doctors, nurses, paramedics and ambulance drivers who work in difficult conditions.
