The President of Ukraine thanked US President Joe Biden for the positions he voiced in a special address to the nation on the importance of helping Ukraine and Israel. Zelensky posted a statement on his Twitter account (X).
"I am grateful to Joseph Biden for his powerful speech. Together we will not allow hatred to destroy freedom and terrorists to destroy democracy. Ukraine is grateful to the United States for its support and unwavering belief that humanism, freedom, independence and a rules-based international order must always prevail. Our common goal is to protect a free way of life for all our peoples," Volodymyr Zelensky said.
He emphasized that the whole world, and especially countries that oppose aggression and terrorism, count on America's leadership in preserving common freedom.
"The unwavering bipartisan support for Ukraine in the United States is a great inspiration to all our soldiers and all our people. The US investment in Ukraine's defense guarantees long-term security for the whole of Europe and the world," Zelensky said.
