Heating in Ukrainian homes will be switched on in the near future in accordance with weather conditions. In some communities, it has already been turned on. This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal during a government meeting.
"About the heating season. The readiness of the energy and utility infrastructure is approaching 100%. Some communities have already started to turn on the heat. In other settlements, it will appear in the near future in accordance with weather conditions," he said.
According to him, "the season will be difficult". "We understand this, we are preparing for all challenges and all possible scenarios," he said.
Shmyhal said that a network of 13,000 "resilience points" has already been deployed, where people will have electricity, heat, internet and communication in critical and emergency cases.
"On the instructions of the President, today we are adopting a resolution to display these locations in the application and on the Diia portal," the Prime Minister said.
