Russia may direct its aggression in another direction after freezing the conflict, - Kuleba

Ukraine's Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has expressed concern that if the armed conflict is frozen, Russia may turn its attention not only to Ukraine. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

The Foreign Minister recalled President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky's warning that Russia would restore its military potential by 2028 if the war is frozen now.

"If we follow such a dangerous scenario, the level of propaganda in the Russian Federation will only increase over these four years; hatred for Ukraine, other European countries, other peoples will increase; Russian ultranationalist, fascist, revanchist rhetoric will become even more poisonous. Or under such conditions, does anyone really believe that only Ukraine will be under the threat of new aggression in 2028?" Kuleba said.

He emphasized that only a crushing defeat would sober Russia up.

Kuleba reminded that Russia's goals are much broader than Ukraine, and only together can the countries of the civilized world avoid the worst-case scenario.
