The head of the EU's diplomacy, Josep Borrell, arrived in Kyiv on October 1 after his visit to Odesa. He announced this on Twitter.

In Kyiv, Borrell met with the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dmytro Kuleba.
The diplomat joined the ceremony honoring the memory of the fallen defenders and expressed his support for those who are currently defending Ukraine from Russia's unjustified aggression and fighting for European values.
He also met with Defense Minister Rustem Umerov.
During the meeting, the politicians discussed the continuation of military aid from the EU. Borrell emphasized the need to provide Ukraine with more opportunities in this area and urgent support.
He also noted that the European Union is working to create long-term measures to ensure Ukraine's security.
The diplomat emphasized that "the war waged by Russia against Ukraine is a threat to all of us."
