President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in Washington on September 21 for key talks. This was announced by the head of state in his Telegram.
During the visit, the President will discuss with his American colleagues issues of foreign policy, including the supply of air defense systems to Ukraine.
In his statement, Zelenskyy emphasized the importance of providing Ukraine with air defense systems and support on the front lines to help in the conflict in the east of the country. He also expressed hope that sanctions against Russia would be strengthened in response to the massive shelling of Ukraine by the Russian occupiers.
The President expressed his gratitude to the rescuers who responded quickly to the attacks and thanked the countries that have already provided Ukraine with anti-missile systems.
