Kyiv imposes restrictions on the entry of large vehicles

Kyiv is introducing restrictions on the entry of large vehicles during rush hours in the morning and evening. This was stated by the head of KCMA Serhiy Popko.

It is noted that at today's meeting of the Kyiv Defense Council, the topic of unloading the city's highways was considered. After all, the capital's roads are overloaded during rush hour. It is difficult for people to get to work, and for special vehicles to reach their destinations.

"It was decided to restrict the entry of large vehicles to the capital during rush hours in the morning from 7:00 to 10:00 and in the evening from 17:00 to 20:00 starting from September 20, 2023. Restrictions will be set at the entrances to the capital," Popko said.

The Kyiv police will monitor the implementation of the decision.

He also reminded that the ban on entry during rush hours had existed in Kyiv before the war.
