Ukraine returned 11 children who were illegally deported

Today, new school years have begun in Ukrainian schools, and this is especially important for 11 children who were returned home after being illegally taken by the occupiers, Kherson RMA reports.

This successful return of the children home was made possible by the great joint work of many services and organizations. Among them were the Office of the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights, the Ministry for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories, Save Ukraine organization, the Ukrainian Child Rights Network, and many others.

These children were illegally detained in the temporarily occupied territories of Kherson region. Among them were six young children deprived of parental care and five who had families.

Each of them was waiting to return home, and now they have this opportunity. The youngest is only 2 years old, and the oldest is 16.

"The work in this direction will continue. Until all Ukrainian children are home," - the administration added.
