According to The New York Times, Ukraine is currently developing about six models of various long-range drones, including devices with the capacity to fly over 1,000 kilometers.
Ukrainian designers note that this progress is being made thanks to a cultivated startup culture, including dozens of small companies that are actively experimenting with new developments.
"The current state of development can be compared to the first steps of a bird capable of striking inside Russia," said former Defense Minister Andriy Zahorodniuk.
In particular, President Zelenskyy also reported the successful use of Ukrainian long-range weapons, hitting a target 700 kilometers away.
This statement probably refers to yesterday's drone attack on the Pskov airfield, which is located 700 kilometers from Ukraine's northern border. Meanwhile, Russian telegram channels claim that the strike was carried out from the territory of Estonia. However, Russian authorities have not officially confirmed this.
