According to intelligence, Russia plans to complete the production of 1300 Shahed unmanned aerial vehicles by the end of this year. Deputy Chief of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine Skibitsky shared this information, RBC-Ukraine reports.
According to the plans, components from both foreign and domestic manufacturers will be used in the production of Shaheds.
However, the intelligence community believes that Russia's current capabilities do not allow it to produce such a large number of drones in full. Instead, they carry out the final assembly on their territory.
Skibitsky made it clear that Ukraine will focus its efforts on hitting the facilities where these drones are manufactured.
In the future, Russia plans to expand its production capabilities to create 60 different types of unmanned aerial vehicles.
