Ukraine is not connected to the crash of Prigozhin's plane, which may have carried the leader and commanders of the PMC. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy made this statement during a press conference with the Portuguese President. This is the first time the Head of State has commented on this incident.
"When Ukraine spoke and appealed to the countries of the world about the planes, we did not mean this, we meant something completely different and wanted support. Although, probably, it will definitely help in some sense. First of all, we have nothing to do with this situation, for sure. I think everyone realizes who is involved," Zelensky said.
As we reported earlier, according to the data disseminated by Russian publics, one of the versions of the investigation into the crash of the plane in which Prigozhin was traveling is the possible use of an explosive device placed in the landing gear compartment.
