On the night of August 24, military intelligence officers of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, with the support of the Navy, raised the flag over Crimea. The report came from the DIU.
Special forces, using watercraft, landed on the Crimean coast near the settlements of Olenivka and Mayak.
According to the GUR, while performing the task, the Ukrainian military engaged in combat with Russian troops. As a result of these clashes, the enemy suffered losses among its personnel, and enemy equipment was destroyed.
"All goals and objectives have been accomplished. Upon completion of the special operation, Ukrainian defenders left the scene without losses," the statement said.
It is worth noting that the "administration" of Crimea has not yet commented on these events. The only message from it is related to the alleged "destruction of ammunition according to the established schedule".
As we wrote earlier, this morning a battle took place in Crimea, when Ukrainian intelligence units successfully landed on the peninsula as part of a special operation. The information was provided by the representative of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine Andriy Yusov.
