Zelenskyy invited Finland to talks on security guarantees

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy invited the Republic of Finland to start a dialogue on a bilateral document on security guarantees for Ukraine. The Head of State made the announcement during a joint press conference with Prime Minister of Finland Petteri Orpo in Kyiv.


"Today, Prime Minister of Finland Petteri Orpo and I discussed our defense and security cooperation. I am grateful for the new, already 18th package of defense support - these are the ammunition and artillery we need now," - Zelenskyy also said.


Zelenskyy emphasized that the Republic of Finland has provided fruitful support in global efforts to implement the Ukrainian Peace Formula. He also emphasized that during today's meeting, he received a promise from Orpo about Finland's readiness to take an active part in the implementation of the points of the Peace Formula.


"Thank you for Finland's constant practical assistance to Ukraine - military, humanitarian and sanctions. For the solidarity of your country with ours in the struggle for freedom and independence. And for working together to implement the Peace Formula. Security is important for everyone," the President of Ukraine added.
