At approximately 05:30 in the morning, Kryvyi Rih came under a rocket attack. This was reported by the head of the Kryvyi Rih Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Vilkul, in his Telegram channel.
More than 20 private houses and energy infrastructure were damaged. A man born in 1953 received minor facial injuries, refused hospitalisation and was provided with medical assistance.
Several hospitals have switched to running on generators and electricity supply has already been restored. The water supply system has also been able to switch to generators and is now restoring power. Currently, several streets and power lines are partially disconnected from the electricity supply.
"All services are working. We are starting to distribute tarpaulin, film, and OSB and accept applications for financial assistance from the city budget. Today, at 12.00 noon, a planned explosion will be carried out for production purposes in the No. 2 Encore quarry of PJSC ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih (Ingulets and Central City districts). The production explosion is under control, there is no reason for concern," Vilkul added.
