President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has signed laws extending the martial law and general mobilization in the country.
According to the information posted on the Verkhovna Rada's website in the cards numbered 9532 and 9533 relating to these draft laws, the documents were signed by the head of state on August 17 and returned to parliament.
Martial law and mobilization in Ukraine will be extended for another 90 days. They will remain valid until at least November 15, 2023.
This is the eighth extension of martial law and general mobilization since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
