Yesterday, on 6 August, Russian troops shelled the area of Novodanylivka village in Zaporizhzhia using chemical munitions.
This was reported by the commander of the Tavria operational and strategic grouping of troops, Oleksandr Tarnavsky.
Violating all international conventions, the enemy launched two artillery attacks using rocket and artillery systems with a chemical substance, presumably chlorpicrin.
The incident occurred near the village of Novodanylivka, located near the city of Orikhiv. According to Tarnavsky, no one was injured in the shelling.
"The Russians are trying to do everything possible to stop our movement. But they will not succeed," the commander added.
