The head of the Odesa regional TCC and SP Colonel Borysov Yevhen Mykhailovych was dismissed from his post.
This was stated by the spokeswoman of the Southern Defense Forces Nataliya Humenyuk on the air of the national telethon.
"Currently, the procedure is taking place, it has a certain length of time, the transfer of the position and the further planned implementation of the officer," the statement reads.
It is noted that this happened in accordance with the decision of the Headquarters of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine dated June 23, 2023.
Borisov held the position of head of the Odesa Regional Territorial Center for Staffing and Social Support of the Southern Operational Command of the Ground Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Deputy Borisov will now head the TCC.
"Currently, we are not hindering the activities of law enforcement agencies, the violations and proceedings that have been initiated are ongoing, law enforcement agencies are working, the evidence base is being collected," Humenyuk added.
Scandal with the head of the Odesa TCC
At the beginning of May, law enforcement agencies opened a criminal case against the head of the Odesa regional territorial recruitment center. The latter is suspected of selling "white tickets". After that, he was removed from his official duties.
Journalists, for their part, found out that:
the wife of the "military commissar" bought herself a luxury car during the war;
the suspect's family bought real estate and cars worth millions of dollars in Spain.
The head of the "Servant of the People" faction, David Arakhamiya, announced the initiation of an inspection of military commissariats throughout Ukraine, and the Ground Forces noted that they would facilitate the implementation of the necessary measures during the investigation of the illegal enrichment of the "military commissariat".
On Friday, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, held another meeting of the Staff of the Commander-in-Chief. He gave an urgent order to dismiss the Odessa "military commissar".
