The European Union is handing over 500 generators from its reserves to Ukraine for the needs of the regions affected by the explosion of the Kakhovskaya HPP by the Russians.
This is stated in the message of the European Commission, which is at the disposal of "European Truth".
In continuation of the assistance provided to Ukraine through the EU Civil Protection Mechanism, the European Union is transferring 500 generators from strategic reserve warehouses located in Poland.
"The generators will be used to restore the functioning of critical infrastructure, such as pumping stations and sewage treatment plants in the affected areas in southern Ukraine.
Generators of different capacities - from 12.5 kVA to 1100 kVA, with a total cost of 16 million euros," the message states.
We will remind you that Spain announced last week that it was preparing 24 tons of humanitarian aid for the victims of the explosion of the Kakhovskaya HPP.
