Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said that the territory of Azerbaijan recognized by Armenia with an area of 86,600 square kilometers includes Nagorno-Karabakh.
He said this during a press conference, reports Armenpres.
"The perception of the international community is increasingly leaning towards the formula that Armenia and Azerbaijan should unreservedly recognize each other's territorial integrity - 29,800 sq. km and 86,600 sq. km, respectively, and there should be a dialogue between Baku and Stepanakert to ensure the rights and security of Nagorno-Karabakh Armenians," Pashinyan said.
According to him, Armenia "agrees with this logic and is conducting negotiations on this logic, stressing that international mechanisms for ensuring the Stepanakert-Baku dialogue are extremely important."
"At the same time, I am convinced that the strategic guarantee of Armenia's security is the world that is possible when relations with all neighbors are settled. This is not an easy process at all, but I think that this is what our people want and expect," Pashinyan added. .
