The peace formula of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi is unique, but Russia will not support it.
This was stated by the head of the foreign policy department of the European Union, Josep Borrell, writes La Repubblica.
According to Borrell, China's proposed "peace plan" is a dream and a wish list.
"The Chinese peace plan cannot be called such, it is a dream, a wish list. The only peace plan is Zelensky's plan, but Russia will never accept it," Borrell said during a speech at a conference organized by the European University Institute in Florence.
We will remind you that the Ukrainian formula for peace consists in guarantees of radiation, nuclear, food and energy security, as well as the withdrawal of Russian troops from the occupied territories.
As US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken noted, the United States openly accepts China's efforts to promote peace in Ukraine, but Beijing must understand that all initiatives must be based on the restoration of territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence.
