President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said that each of Ukraine's partners can show leadership in dismantling the elements of Russian aggression. He said this in an address to the participants of the International Security Forum in Halifax.
"The main question is how to restore a real, just world. Just the end of the war does not guarantee peace. Russia is now looking for a short-term truce to regain strength. Some would call it the end of the war. But such a pause will only worsen the situation," Zelenskiy said.
According to him, it is impossible to call the world any ideas of concessions on Ukrainian land or sovereignty.
"Immoral compromises will lead to new blood. A real long-term and honest world can only be the result of the complete dismantling of all elements of Russian aggression," Zelenskiy emphasized.
He reminded that there are 10 points in the Ukrainian formula for peace: "These are challenges that must be overcome for the sake of the security of Ukraine, Europe and the world. This is a formula of peace for the world. This is the only way to the present."
"We highlight what constitutes Russian aggression and offer our partners to dismantle all aspects of aggression together with us in order to provide security. This is something in which each of our partners can show their leadership," Zelenskiy said.
According to him, something has already been achieved. As an example, he named the continuation of the "grain agreement".
"In the same way, we can go step by step in each of the other points of our world formula," Zelenskiy said.
