Belgium is preparing a new military aid package for Ukraine - Prime Minister

Belgian Prime Minister Oleksandr de Croo announced a new military aid package for Ukraine.

He said this in The Hague at a joint press conference with the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi and the Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte.

"Our task is to help Ukraine get rid of illegal occupation, the same as our countries (Belgium and the Netherlands, ed.) experienced during the Second World War. That is why the Belgian government is preparing a new package of military aid to Ukraine," said de Croo.

"As you know, practical obstacles may arise with these aid packages, but I can assure you that there is no doubt in the hearts and minds of Belgians that we should continue to support Ukraine," added the prime minister.
