The commander of the Special Operations Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Viktor Khorenko, came to Bakhmut, where he checked the work of his units. He also spoke about the current situation regarding the defense of the city.

"All units of the SSO of Ukraine, involved in the defense of Bakhmut, clearly fulfill their assigned tasks. Our soldiers work continuously in extremely difficult conditions and do everything to reduce the number of enemy forces every day," Khorenko said.
It is stated that the brigadier general checked the work of the subordinate units that defend Bakhmut and are involved in combat work in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
Also, during the trip, the commander of the SSO of Ukraine familiarized himself with the situation in the areas where the tasks were carried out and worked on a number of urgent issues on the spot regarding the provision and organization of the work of the units of the Special Operations Forces.
According to Viktor Horenko, in the current conditions, communication and interaction of all units that are part of the structure of the SSO of Ukraine play an extremely important role, and "quick and coordinated response to requests and needs of units gives the best result on the battlefield."
It should be noted that before that, the commander of the Eastern Group of Forces, Colonel-General Oleksandr Syrsky, came to Bakhmut.
Let's add, as Oleksiy Danilov, secretary of the NSDC, said, the Ukrainian military continues to defend the city of Bakhmut in the Donetsk region, the situation there is difficult, but controlled by the Armed Forces.
At the same time, the head of the Ministry of Defense, Oleksiy Reznikov, noted that Russia uses meat grinder tactics, losing 500 people a day near Bakhmut.
