On Tuesday, January 24, pro-Kremlin forces attacked the village of Borshchev, Kharkiv region. Two people were injured as a result of the shelling.
Nataliya Popova, adviser to the chairman of the Kharkiv Regional Council, reported this on Facebook.
"As a result of the shelling by the Russians of the village of Borshchev, Kharkiv Region, two people received shrapnel wounds," she said.
According to her, the injured were taken to the hospital in a moderate condition.
Popova reported that the shelling took place in the Lipetsk community.
"We went based on the information of an e-trenka like Borshchova. But there are adjacent territories of populated areas. This was reported by representatives of the community leadership," she explained the confusion with populated areas.
In his turn, the head of Kharkiv OV Oleg Synegubov reported that the occupiers fired artillery at the village of Liptsi.
He specified that two civilians were wounded as a result of shelling: a 59-year-old man and a 46-year-old woman.
"Both are hospitalized with shrapnel wounds. Their condition is average," Sinegubov said in Telegram.
He added that the Russians also shelled the settlement of Strelech with mortars and artillery. There were no casualties.
It will be recalled that on January 22, the Russian occupiers shelled Kupyansk, as a result of which the milk canning factory was damaged.
In addition, on the morning of January 21, a projectile hit a house in Vovchansk, Kharkiv region. As a result of the shelling, a person died and a girl was injured.
We would like to add that the Russian occupiers have been shelling peaceful settlements in the Kupyan, Kharkiv, Bogodukhiv and Chuguiv districts of the Kharkiv region for the past day.
