On the night of May 24, the Russian army shelled the railway infrastructure in Kharkiv region, the second attack in 24 hours. This was reported by the press service of Ukrzaliznytsia.
“The enemy does not abandon targeted attempts to stop the railway in Kharkiv region. At night, it again attacked the civilian railway infrastructure,” the company said.
The shelling damaged tracks, buildings, idle freight cars and an electric train car.
“Fortunately, there were no casualties or injuries. Long-distance and suburban trains are running according to schedule,” the press service added.
