Estonia approved a new package of military aid to Ukraine

At a meeting on Thursday, the government of Estonia decided to provide Ukraine with a new package of military aid.

Defense Minister Hanno Pevkur said this at a press conference in Tallinn.

"We continue to support Ukraine and today we decided on a new aid package for Ukrainian servicemen. The package mainly concerns individual equipment, because this is what the Ukrainians specifically asked us for," said Pevkur.

According to him, the new package will include winter field uniforms, personal protective equipment, and drones. The minister did not name the amount at which the accepted aid package is valued.

Pevkur added that since the beginning of the invasion, Estonia has already transferred weapons and various military equipment worth more than 1 billion euros to Ukraine.

Earlier, Estonia sent a mobile sauna and laundry for the Ukrainian military.

At the beginning of December, it was reported that Estonia, with the support of Norway and the Netherlands, will give Ukraine a third field hospital. Also, Ukraine has already received three ambulances, the money for which was raised by Estonia.
