SpaceX and its owner Elon Musk will continue to support Ukraine, about 10,000 more Starlink satellite communication terminals will be approved for the country in the coming months, Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov said in an interview with Bloomberg.
"Elon Musk assured us that he will continue to support Ukraine. When we had power outages, I wrote him a message that day, and he reacted instantly and has already taken certain steps. He understands the situation," Fedorov said.
The head of the Ministry of Digital Affairs added that all financial issues have been resolved, as the governments of several European Union countries are ready to share the payment.
According to Fedorov, since the beginning of the war in February, Ukraine has received about 22,000 Starlink antennas.
"Regarding the Internet, we have a lot of Starlink, but the key point is that we have received approval for one more supply, which will be used to stabilize the connection in critical situations," the deputy prime minister said.
