In Poland, they offer themselves to the G20 instead of Russia

Deputy Minister of Culture and National Heritage Yaroslav Sellin said that Poland should replace Russia in the "Group of Twenty" (G20).

He said this on the air of "Polish Radio".

"I believe that if the G20 was intended to be 20 economically and politically significant countries, then the situation is ripe for that. In economic rankings, Poland ranks about 20th in the world, while the geopolitical importance of Poland has increased significantly thanks to the aid provided to Ukraine," Sellin said.

He also noted that Russia should be recognized as a terrorist state. Then there will be no doubts about whether Russia should be invited to the G20 or OSCE meetings.

A few days ago, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country reported that Poland refused to issue visas to the members of the Russian delegation who were supposed to participate in the meeting of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe. The meeting will take place in Warsaw from November 24 to 26.

In recent weeks, due to numerous Russian missile strikes on the energy infrastructure in Ukraine, there have been calls for the expulsion of the Russian Federation from the "Group of Twenty".

The President's Office stated that Russia's missile terror against Ukraine should meet with an even tougher response from the international community, in particular, the Russian Federation should be excluded from the G20.
