DTEK: emergency power outages began in Kyiv region

On Wednesday, November 2, emergency disconnections of consumers from electricity began in the Kyiv region. This is stated in the statement of DTEK Kyiv Regional Electric Networks.

"Currently, the consumption of electricity in the Kyiv region has increased significantly," the report says.

According to available information, NEC "Ukrenergo" issued an order to carry out emergency shutdowns. This is done in order to avoid mass accidents on power equipment.

"We are starting to implement them now. We draw your attention to the fact that during emergency shutdowns, stabilization shutdown schedules do not work," DTEK added.

It should be noted that earlier DTEK announced that the electricity was returned to all residents of the Kyiv region who lost power after the attacks of Russia on October 31.
