Night drone attack on Ukraine: consequences

On the night of January 30, Russian troops launched 35 Shahed kamikaze drones and two S-300 guided missiles over Ukraine. Air defense forces managed to shoot down 15 enemy drones. This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.


It is noted that the Russians attacked with 35 Shahed-136/131 strike UAVs in three directions: Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Kursk - Russia, Chauda - Crimea and two S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles in Donetsk region.


Air defense forces and means destroyed 15 enemy UAVs in Mykolaiv, Sumy, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Kherson, and Kyiv regions.


The enemy sent some of the attacking UAVs to the frontline areas in an attempt to hit the fuel and energy sector infrastructure, civilian and military facilities on the front line and the state border with Russia.

A drone attack took place at night in Kryvyi Rih district of Dnipropetrovsk region, where a civilian infrastructure facility was hit and caught fire. This was reported by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk RMA Serhiy Lysak.

 

 

In Mykolaiv region, a truck caught fire after hit, injuring the driver, reports the State Emergency Service.

 

 

Another hit of "Shaheds" this night was in Kyiv region, according to the Kyiv RMA. As a result of the falling debris, a fire broke out on the territory of an enterprise. The administrative building and hangar were damaged.


The fire has been extinguished. In addition to the buildings, three cars were damaged. According to preliminary reports, there were no casualties or injuries among the population.
