At least four people were injured in the Kyiv region as a result of the falling debris of downed Russian missiles that attacked Ukraine on the night of March 21, and destruction and fires were reported in four districts of the region. This was reported by the head of the Kyiv regional military administration Ruslan Kravchenko.
"As of 9:30 a.m., we know about four victims. One of them was hospitalized. The injuries are of various types - cut wounds of the limbs, abrasions, eye and face injuries. Everyone is being provided with the necessary medical care," the statement said.
In particular, rocket fragments fell in at least six settlements of the region and caused damage of varying degrees - from broken windows to complete destruction of buildings. Windows, balconies, and doors were smashed in high-rise buildings.
"In one of the settlements, a lyceum was also damaged - windows were smashed. In addition, there is damage to a power line in one of the settlements. The power supply should be restored by noon," added the head of the RMA and emphasized that this is only preliminary data on the consequences of the shelling.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs, for its part, clarified that two apartment buildings and 47 private houses, as well as 12 vehicles, were damaged in Kyiv region.
In addition, the fall of Russian missile debris damaged power grid equipment in Kyiv region, leaving 1700 consumers without electricity. This was reported by the Ministry of Energy.
