The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskiy, called on the Western allies to urgently convene a meeting of the G7 ("Big Seven") countries. The parties will discuss the massive shelling of Ukraine on October 10.
The Ukrainian President announced this on Twitter.
"We agreed with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, the chairman of the G7, to convene an urgent meeting of the group. My speech is planned, in which I will talk about the terrorist attacks of the Russian Federation. We also discussed increasing pressure on Russia and helping to restore damaged infrastructure," Zelenskiy wrote.
As you know, on the morning of October 10, Ukraine was subjected to one of the largest mass attacks by the Russian Federation. Many cities came under fire, including Kyiv, Lviv, Khmelnytskyi, Ternopil and Zhytomyr.
