A video appeared online showing Yevgeny Prigozhin, an ally of Russian President Vladimir Putin and the owner of PMC Wagner, recruiting prisoners for the war. Journalist Yury Butusov posted the video on Twitter.
In the video, a man who looks like Prigozhin speaks to the prisoners in the yard of the colony.
According to him, the war in Ukraine is difficult, the huge consumption of ammunition continues.
"The first sin is desertion. No one backs down. No one retreats, no one surrenders. When you surrender, you will be told about two grenades that you must have with you. The second sin is alcohol and drugs. And the third sin . is a "marauder", including sexual contacts with local women, flora, fauna, men, anyone," says Prigozhin.
According to him, they recruit men aged 22 to 50.
"Who do we need? We need only stormtroopers. 60% of my guys are only stormtroopers. And you will be one of them. You will be no different from us. You will be treated the same, sometimes more loyally, than those who fight a lot years," Prigozhin said.
According to him, he has at his disposal heavy weapons necessary for an offensive: planes, tanks, MLRS, etc.
Prigozhin assures that in case of death in the war, they are buried in the so-called Alleys of Glory.
"Next, after six months, go home after receiving a pardon. Those who want to stay with us stay. Therefore, there are no options to return to the zone. Anyone who arrives on the first day and does not understand where he has gone, we mark him as a "deserter". This is shot ", Prigozhin said.
It is not known when and where exactly the video was recorded.
It should be noted that earlier analysts of the Institute for the Study of War reported that Russia had recruited about a thousand prisoners to participate in the war against Ukraine.
