Kuleba met with Berbok in Prague: they talked about the eighth package of sanctions and visa restrictions against Russia

During his visit to Prague, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba, met with the Head of the Foreign Ministry of Germany, Annalena Berbok. The parties discussed the eighth package of EU sanctions against Russia and what it should include.

"I met my colleague Annalena Burbok in Prague. We discussed the eighth package of EU sanctions, visa restrictions for Russians, further supply of weapons to Ukraine. Russian energy blackmail is part of Putin's war against Europe, and the European response to it must be strong and united," he wrote on Twitter.

Kuleba also met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands, Wopke Hoekstra. He thanked him for his principled position on the need to ban Russians from entering the EU.

"We also discussed our further joint efforts to supply more weapons and ammunition to Ukraine, as well as holding Russia accountable," he added.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands, Wopke Hoekstra, said that the country's government will support the proposal to ban Russian tourists from entering the European Union. According to him, the foreign ministers of the countries in Prague will come to a final decision in the coming days.

Thus, visa restrictions against Russia will be discussed at an informal meeting of EU foreign ministers on August 30-31 in Prague.
