Russia used all types of its missile weapons in strikes against Ukraine.
Yuriy Ignat, colonel, speaker of the Air Force Command of the AFU, said this during a briefing.
"Nowhere else in the world has this ever happened, and we are doing everything possible to repel these attacks," he said.
At the same time, the speaker reminded that the enemy has not flown into Ukrainian airspace for 2.5 months and has changed its tactics.
"Acts from the territory of Belarus, the territory of Russia, the Black Sea and the Caspian Sea, launching cruise missiles and primarily hitting civilian objects and killing civilians," said Ignat.
As for the missile weapons the enemy uses, according to the Defense Ministry spokesman, the Russian Federation has switched primarily to Soviet-made missiles.
"There is a lot of talk already about the enemy's running out of high-tech missiles such as the Kalibr, for example. The enemy saves such high-value equipment in order to threaten the world further. That's why we see the missiles like X-22, X-39, X-31 being used more and more in different directions," he said.
As reported, Russia started using Soviet-made Kh-22 cruise missiles for strikes on Ukrainian territory. This first happened on the night of Monday, May 9, in the Donetsk region.
Also earlier the main disadvantage of Soviet Kh-22 missiles became known.
