The Netherlands has allocated another 200 million euros in aid to Ukraine through the fund of the International Monetary Fund.

 

This was announced by the Minister of Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation of the Netherlands Lisie Schreinemacher, reports "Interfax-Ukraine".

 

"Continuing our efforts to address Ukraine's most urgent financial needs, I am announcing today that we have provided another 200 million euros of financial assistance through the IMF special account.

 

The funds will be spent on the current needs of the Ukrainian authorities, such as salaries for civil servants, teachers, medics," she said at a conference on the reconstruction of Ukraine in Lugano on Tuesday.

 

As reported in Lugano, the Swedish government announced in Lugano that it had decided to provide Ukraine with another 6 million euros in aid to rebuild the destroyed infrastructure.
