The countries of the European Union have full agreement on the issue of granting candidate status to the EU to Ukraine. This was stated by the Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine Olha Stefanyshyna during a telethon.
"Each of these countries (which were against candidate status - ed.) after the European Commission's decision on Friday confirmed that they will support granting Ukraine candidate status," Stefanyshyna said.
According to the minister, she can now confirm that as of June 20, Ukraine has a consensus among EU leaders.
