"Residents of Kherson ignored the celebration of the day of Russia, even despite attempts to bribe with food kits," reported in the OC "South" on Facebook.
As pointed out in the OC "South", "in their custom Rashists brought engaged audience, which tried to create the illusion of popular festivities and support for the propaganda media."
"But the efforts were in vain - there were more guards with weapons than spectators at their under-festivities," the command added.
And the real Khersonians reportedly played the Ukrainian anthem on the streets, hung yellow and blue ribbons, motivational leaflets, and sprayed patriotic graffiti everywhere.
OC South reported that queues for Russian passports in Kherson were a fake, and that passportization was ignored en masse.
