Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to hold Krynky and control the situation there - Pletenchuk

The Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to hold Krynky and the situation there is under control. However, the Russians have intensified their assault operations in this direction. This was stated by Dmytro Pletenchuk, head of the Strategic Communications Center of the Defense Forces of the South, during a telethon.

According to him, if we take the southern direction, the most active is now in the Kherson region. Yesterday, the Russian army conducted nine assaults in the village of Krynky at once.

“But all of them were unsuccessful, the enemy was forced to retreat back to their positions, suffering losses. Therefore, I cannot say that there have been any significant changes in this part of the front. The Marines continue to hold their ground and are making progress. The situation remains under control, despite the fact that it is quite tense,” said Pletenchuk.

In addition, a representative of the Defense Forces of the South commented on yesterday's information that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had abandoned the bridgehead in Krynky: “We communicate every day, every day we inform the public about the state of affairs and the situation. In principle, this message was not about any negative things, not about the withdrawal, but about someone's alleged progress.”

Yesterday, a soldier of the 24th Aidar Brigade said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had left Krynky.

“Our guys left Krynky, advanced and established themselves in another, safer place on the left bank. There is nowhere to retreat, so we took back a new territory and left,” he wrote.

It should be noted that a few days ago, some Russian military publics wrote that Krynky had come under full Russian control. But there was no confirmation of this information either.
