Kharkiv and Kharkiv region have been under enemy fire again in the past 24 hours. Russian occupants are taking casualties from Ukrainian defenders and shelling civilians in the region, the head of the Kharkiv RSA, Oleg Sinegubov, said.
"In the past 24 hours, the enemy shelled the Kiev and Sloboda districts of Kharkiv and Kharkiv, Chuguev, Bogodukhov, Krasnograd, Lozovsky and Zolochevsky districts of the region with MLRS," the head of the OVA said in Telegram.
According to him, in Kharkiv was shelled the Metalist stadium and the infrastructure of the Kiev district. At night, as a result of a Russian shell hit, there was a fire in a private house in the Kyivsky district. Rescuers retrieved a 52-year-old man from under the rubble. He was not seriously injured. A 70 year old woman was injured. A total of three people were injured in Kharkov.
In the region, according to the head of the RSA, the occupants were shelling houses, household facilities and critical infrastructure. In the village of Dergachi, a private enterprise was hit and a fire broke out. In the village of Slobozhanske, Krasnograd district, more than 20 cars were destroyed as a result of shelling. Forests and grass in the region are on fire due to ammunition hits.
In the village of Dergachi, 1 person was killed and 2 were injured. In the village of Chernoglazovka, Bogodukhov district, 1 person was killed. In Izyum rayon - 1 wounded. In the village of Udy of Bogodukhov district 1 wounded.
"In total for a day in the region 2 dead, 7 wounded," - noted Sinegubov.
"On the line of collision in the Kharkiv region continues fighting. On the Kharkiv direction the enemy is concentrated on the defense. Conducts remote mining of the terrain. In the area of Izyum, offensive attempts in the direction of Dovgenkoye and Dolina continue. Our defenders hold their ground and give the enemy an adequate response. The enemy suffers heavy losses in manpower and equipment", - noted the head of the RSA.
We note that the General Staff of the AFU reported that the AFU units successfully repelled an assault in the direction of the village of Dovgenkoye. We inflicted losses on the Russian occupants. The enemy withdrew.
