The Verkhovna Rada supported the bill #7413, which provides for an increase in the general fund of the state budget by 287 billion UAH at the expense of foreign loans - up to 2.08 trillion UAH, including military expenditures - 247.77 billion UAH.

 

As the deputy head of the parliamentary committee on finance, tax and customs policy Yaroslav Zheleznyak said in Telegram, 299 MPs voted for the bill in the second reading, while the required 226 votes.

 

Expenses for the Defense Ministry were increased by 166 billion UAH to 383 billion UAH, including an increase by 102.5 billion UAH in financing of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to 202 billion UAH. The bill also increases spending on the Interior Ministry by another 76 billion UAH, to 182.3 billion UAH.

 

The changes to the state budget also increase spending on the National Guard by 25 billion UAH, to 39.16 billion UAH, and on the administration of the State Border Service - by 7.9 billion UAH, to 22.77 billion UAH, the State Emergency Service - by 13 billion UAH, to 30 billion UAH, the National Police - by 28.5 billion UAH, to 65.26 billion UAH.

 

In addition, the bill increases the cost of the SBU by 2.78 billion UAH - up to 18.9 billion UAH, namely for the Central Department of the SBU.

 

According to the document, it is proposed to replenish the reserve fund by 1.5 billion UAH, to provide aid within the framework of the program "eSupport" - by 5.8 billion UAH, to finance pensions and the deficit of the Pension Fund - more than 20 billion UAH.

 

In addition, the bill provides for the state budget for 2022 to provide targeted assistance to internally displaced persons by 12.5 billion UAH.

 

Thus the bill increases the expenditures of the state budget in 2022 to 2.08 trillion UAH from 1.79 trillion UAH), including the expenditures of the general fund to 1.859 trillion UAH (from 1.572 trillion UAH), and the limit deficit of the state budget for this year to 743.5 billion UAH from 456.36 billion UAH), the deficit of the general fund to 647.35 billion UAH from 360.26 billion UAH.
